The new EP comes from Afrojack’s moniker – and it’s filled with highly-anticipated club ID’s and standout single “Air Max” ft. Primate.
GRAMMY-winning DJ and producer Afrojack has revived his underground alias, NLW, with the highly-anticipated release of the Unity EP. The 6-track collection, led by the pulsating single “Air Max” with rising Belgian producer Primate, offers listeners a taste of the most requested club IDs from his global tours.
Each of the EP tracks captures the energy and diversity of Afrojack’s live performances, with highlights like the techno-driven opener “Free Your Mind,” the Spanish-infused “Loco,” and the hard-hitting house banger “Subway.” A standout on the EP, “Air Max,” fuses elements of drum and bass with Afrojack’s signature festival-ready production, cementing Unity as a project that appeals to those across the electronic spectrum. Debuting at Ultra Miami, the EP has already left an indelible mark on the electronic music scene.
The Unity EP is the latest evolution of Afrojack’s NLW project, which started in 2015 as an outlet for creative experimentation and took center stage in 2022 with the Afrojack Presents NLW EP. Since then, NLW has delivered notable releases such as “Get It” with Phlegmatic Dogs and edits like “Bounce Again.” With Unity, Afrojack not only revisits his roots but also pushes boundaries, collaborating with innovators like Virtual Riot and Count Baldor to create tracks that pulse with underground energy while maintaining mainstream appeal. From the bass-heavy intensity of “Subway” to the euphoric melodies of “Air Max,” the EP reflects Afrojack’s relentless passion for dance music and his ability to effortlessly bridge genres.
Beyond his NLW alias, Afrojack continues to dominate the dance music world with hits like “Give Me Everything” and “Hey Mama” while headlining global festivals like Tomorrowland and EDC. In addition to his studio accomplishments, Afrojack is mentoring the next generation of talent through WALL Recordings and the WALL PRO Academy. His state-of-the-art studio compound in Belgium, completed in 2023, serves as both a creative hub and a training ground for future stars.
