The wait is finally over, Jason Ross‘ remix of ARTY & Mat Zo’s timeless progressive trance classic “Rebound” has arrived!
Originally popping up during Above & Beyond‘s set during ABGT450 from London’s The Drumsheds back in September, Anjunabeats has made quite the splash to open 2022 with the release of his high-octane rendition of the timeless classic.
“’Rebound’ is one of those songs that can transport me back in time, to the days where I was just becoming familiar with dance music and with Anjunabeats. If I remember correctly, this was one of those songs with the ‘trance 2.0′ label; it redefined the genre and our scene. To remix a song that means so much to me, personally, it was quite an honor and also a big responsibility,” Jason Ross explains.
“My goal was to maintain the magic that Arty and Mat Zo infused into it, while putting more of a modern approach to the sound so that this record could continue to be played in today’s clubs and festivals. It was one of the more challenging remixes I’ve done to date, but something I’m truly proud of.”
