Expanding on hardware support for non-Serato DJ hardware, the update brings possibilities to NI Traktor Kontrol Z2 & Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB and more.
Serato has just released version 3.3.2 of its DJ software, bringing long-awaited support to popular hardware like the Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 and Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB. This update opens the door for DJs using non-Serato gear to access Serato’s powerful features, including Serato Stems — a real-time tool that isolates vocals, drums, basslines, and melodies. For DJs who already own these devices, the update offers a whole new level of creative flexibility without needing to invest in new hardware.
This release builds on momentum from last year’s Serato DJ 3.2.1 update, which first introduced compatibility with non-Serato devices such as the Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3, S3, and Pioneer’s DDJ-200 and DDJ-400. With 3.3.2, even more DJs can take advantage of Serato’s stem-separation tech and performance features, breathing new life into their existing gear and transforming how they mix.
What to Expect from DJ 3.3.2:
- Extension of Hardware Support: Serato DJ 3.3.2 marks the second time the audio software brand has extended support to new hardware as it builds upon its era of expansion.
- Legendary Possibilities with Legacy Hardware: Serato DJ support is now available for legacy hardware, including Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 and Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB. By allowing more DJs to experience the magic of Serato DJ through compatibility with popular hardware, Serato is furthering access to its innovative technology.
Serato DJ 3.3.2 is available here. The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 is now supported in Serato DJ Pro, and the Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB is now supported in both Serato DJ Lite and Pro.
