The newly launched USB flash drive offers the reliability and high performance that professional DJs need.

AlphaTheta has teamed up with SanDisk to launch a sleek new storage solution built specifically for DJs: the SanDisk DJ Flash Drive. Designed for performance and reliability, this high-speed drive caters to everyone from bedroom DJs to touring professionals who need a dependable way to store and move substantial music libraries. It’s pre-formatted with FAT32 for immediate plug-and-play use and has been tested to ensure smooth compatibility with Pioneer DJ gear and rekordbox software – making it a strong go-to for anyone working within the AlphaTheta circuit.

“This collaboration with Sandisk reaffirms our dedication to providing high-quality and user-friendly products for the DJ community,” said Yoshinori Kataoka, CEO, AlphaTheta Corporation. “We’re excited to offer a USB that works seamlessly with our DJ gear and software so that artists never have to choose between speed, quality, or flexibility.”

The drive features a durable, compact metal design and boasts blazing-fast speeds of up to 1000MB/s read and 900MB/s write, perfect for quick transfers in high-pressure environments like festivals and club sets. Dual USB-C and USB-A connectors make it easy to connect across modern laptops and DJ setups without a hitch.

To sweeten the deal, it also includes a three-month trial of rekordbox’s DJ Creative Plan, giving users access to advanced features like RMX effects, video playback, and vocal position analysis. All in all, it’s a thoughtfully crafted tool that aims to streamline the DJ workflow from studio prep to live performances.

    Key Features

    • Incredible Speed: Transfer files with up to 1,000MB/s read and 900MB/s write speeds.
    • Storage Capacity: With up to 1TB capacity, store songs, mixes, and essential files.
    • Device Flexibility: Equipped with both USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors, the drive is compatible across the gear DJs rely on, and its small form-factor makes it easy to travel with.
    • Included rekordbox Software: Artists can streamline their DJ workflow with three free months of rekordbox Creative Plan included with the purchase.
    • Easily manage files: Artists can enable automatic backup, keep their files organized, and retrieve content on Android and the iOS Files App with the Sandisk app.

The Sandisk DJ Flash Drive will be available in two generous capacities: 512GB, priced at $79.99, and 1TB, priced at $119.99. The 512GB option will be available at Sandisk.com and select retailers and e-tailers around the world. The 1TB option will be sold at PioneerDJStore.com and select retailers and e-tailers.
