The new four-track EP, a journey through melodic and progressive house, is available now through Lane 8’s This Never Happened label.
Singapore’s own MYRNE returns with his latest Heal EP, a four-track journey through the softer edges of melodic and progressive house. The project leans heavily into lush, airy sound design – delivering smooth, emotional textures that feel like a sonic exhale. It’s house music built for the heart, not just the dancefloor. This isn’t just a collection of songs – it’s a gentle arc of warmth and introspection, perfectly embodying the “emotional dance music” MYRNE has come to champion.
The title track “Heal,” a collaboration with Shallou, kicks things off with featherlight synths and gentle percussion, setting the tone with a serene, restorative energy. From there, “Salve In The Mist” deepens the mood with slow-building layers and ambient textures, while “Light Through The Leaves” glows with optimism – its bright chords and grounded beats offering a moment of levity.
On the 8-minute closer, “Lily,” MYRNE wraps everything in a reflective haze with pulsing bass and delicate synth work, making for a poignant sendoff. Coming off a stacked 2024 that included a debut on Lane 8’s This Never Happened and four unreleased tracks on Lane 8’s Winter mixtape, Heal EP is yet another reminder that MYRNE isn’t just following trends – he’s building his own lane. With a U.S. tour alongside Sultan + Shepard on the horizon, this is an artist pushing forward, crafting dance music with depth.
