To coincide with a new EP releasing in April, VonStroke returns with new tour dates following a two year hiatus.
After two decades of shaping one of North America’s most influential dance music communities, Claude VonStroke is stepping into a new era. Following the sale of his Dirtybird brand and a two-year hiatus, he’s returning on his own terms with the Life of Leisure tour, a project that prioritizes artistry over industry norms. More than just a series of shows, it’s a mindset is an underground refuge where music lovers can escape the noise of everyday life. The journey kicks off on April 25 with a record release party in New York, before hitting handpicked venues in cities like Austin, Atlanta, Denver, and Toronto. Festival highlights include special performances at Lightning in a Bottle, Movement Detroit, and Osheaga, all personally selected by VonStroke to reflect his evolving vision.
The tour also coincides with his upcoming EP, I Was the Wolf, set for release on April 25. Channeling the spirit of early 2000s minimal house, the project fuses deep grooves with VonStroke’s signature quirky sound. As if the North American dates weren’t enough, a European leg is already in the works, with exclusive shows planned in London and Berlin.
As VonStroke himself puts it, “This isn’t a status flex, it’s a vacation on the dancefloor. The ravers are the heroes; I’m the guide. Let’s leave the stress behind and live the Life of Leisure together, even if it’s just for a few hours in the club.”
