The debut album from the GRAMMY-nominated, British singer and songwriter is among the standout LPs of the year.
British singer-songwriter HAYLA has emerged as a powerhouse in global dance music, earning a GRAMMY nomination and collaborating with top artists like John Summit, Kx5 (deadmau5 & Kaskade), and Kygo.
Best known for her commanding voice and electrifying stage presence, she’s become a sought-after vocalist on chart-topping hits, including two back-to-back No. 1’s on U.S. Dance Radio: “Escape” with Kx5 and the RIAA Platinum-certified “Where You Are” with John Summit.
On November 1, HAYLA released her 10-track debut solo album, DUSK, through Restless Minds Music. The near 35-minute ensemble is among the standout electronic album releases of this year. Including her previously released singles “Freefall” and “Embers,” as well as focus single, “Visions of You,” the LP encapsulates the true essence of HAYLA’s sound and perfectly articulates her vision. Additional album highlights include tracks “Only I,” “Unfold,” and “Treading Water.”
“’Visions of You’ is for when you’re starstruck by infatuation and the thoughts of that one person that gets you through your day. Someone you can’t wait to see again and someone who makes you feel really good about yourself. They help you out of your shell and help heal your wounds. On the other side of hurt comes hope. This is probably the happiest track on the album.” – HAYLA (on the song written and produced with Andy Sheldrake [Todd Edwards, John Summit, Elderbrook])
HAYLA’s career highlights include performances at major festivals like Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Creamfields, as well as iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl. With her debut solo album, DUSK, which includes standout singles “Freefall” and “Embers,” HAYLA further cements her rise as one of the most exciting artists in dance music today.
