The trance trio behind Anjunabeats releases “Another Breakdown” from their forthcoming EP, announces Coachella ’25 performances.
Trance titans, Above & Beyond return with their latest release, “Another Breakdown,” which offers a stunning showcase of their mastery in crafting euphoric club anthems. The track, which debuted during the trio’s monumental Group Therapy 600 event in Mexico City, embodies the true essence of their signature sound. With shimmering synths and a build-up that captivated a crowd of 14,000, the song has quickly earned a special place among fans as what started as a highly-anticipated ABGT 600 ID.
This single is part of their upcoming EP, Tranquility Base Vol. 2, which is set for release on Dec. 6. The title pays homage to their legendary Tranquility Base alias, which has gifted the dance music world with timeless classics like “Surrender” and “Oceanic.” Building on the success of the previous volume, which topped Beatport charts and featured standout tracks like “Angry JP8,” this new collection guarantees another round of instrumental gems primed for the dance floor.
Above & Beyond, made up of members Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki, remain pillars of the electronic music scene. Founders of Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep labels, they’ve earned accolades like two GRAMMY nominations and hosted sold-out shows at venues like Madison Square Garden and The Hollywood Bowl.
As the year wraps up, the Anjunafamily can catch Above & Beyond live at Dreamstate SoCal on Nov. 23 and at Factory Town in Miami on New Year’s Eve. With their unremitting dedication to their craft and distinguishable trance sound, “Another Breakdown” and the forthcoming EP are a testament to why and how they’ve remained at the forefront of the dance music scene.
With 2025 around the corner, fans can also look forward to Above & Beyond’s grand return to Ultra Music Festival at Bayfront Park in Miami to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of UMF in March. In April, the guys will perform back-to-back weekends at the legendary Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indo, California.
