Steve Aoki & Lil Jon Unleash New Collab, “Get Lower”

The iconic duo reunites for a reimagined version of the classic party anthem “Get Low” – this time with “Get Lower.”

Steve Aoki has joined forces with Lil Jon to unleash a legendary new collaboration, “Get Lower.” The iconic duo reunites for this reboot and revitalized rendition of the party classic “Get Low” – and now, it’s time to “Get Lower.”

Dropping just in time for Super Bowl LVIII weekend, “Get Lower” is available on Friday, February 9, ahead of the Big Game weekend in Las Vegas on Sun., Feb. 11. Lil Jon just appeared in the Apple Music short film “Where’s Usher?,” just in time to generate even more buzz ahead of Usher’s Super Bowl halftime performance this weekend. Will Lil Jon be taking the stage with Usher? If so, will he serve up a taste of “Get Lower?”

“Jon and I have been friends for years, and whenever we get together on a track, it’s a party. When we performed at Tomorrowland last year, the energy was off the charts, and we knew we had to create another festival anthem. ‘Get Low’ is one of the most hype tracks of all time, and it’s an honor to work with Jon to bring it back for the next generation.” – Steve Aoki

2x-GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer Steve Aoki joins forces with GRAMMY-award-winning rapper and producer Lil Jon on their new collaboration “Get Lower.” The single pays homage to Lil Jon’s 2003 dominating chart-topping club record “Get Low,” which charted at No. 1 on Billboard Hot Rap Songs and No. 1 on Billboard Rap Airplay, featuring Aoki’s brand new electro-driven production and with new original recorded vocals by Lil Jon.

With “Get Lower” serving as the fourth official collaboration between Aoki and Lil Jon, their journey dates back to their first record together “Turbulence,” which became a nightclub smash and a sports event staple. The two artists share a decades-long friendship and have performed all over the world together, including stages in Japan, at SXSW, Ultra Music Festival, and most recently, the mainstage at Tomorrowland 2023. Their adventures together in the studio and rocking global stages are captured in the brand-new music video for “Get Lower,” out now.

“It’s crazy that Steve reached out to me about this song, especially considering it’s the 20th anniversary of the track this year! I’m grateful for our friendship over the years, and there’s no better way to honor this milestone for ‘Get Low.’” – Lil Jon

“Get Lower” is Aoki’s first single of 2024, which follows his 8th studio LP HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix, which includes collaborations “Locked Up” with Akon, “Invitame A Un Cafe” with Ángela Aguilar, and “Us” featuring ERNEST. Aoki has also remixed the NFL on CBS Theme song, which fans can hear throughout the Super Bowl this weekend.

“Get Lower” follows Lil Jon’s recent singles “Bombón” with Daddy Yankee and El Alfa, “Let’s Get Crazy” with Don Omar, “JUMPIN” with Pitbull, and “Till The Club Close” with Tiffany Haddish & Fivio Foreign. The new track arrives nearly 20 years after Lil Jon changed the face of hip-hop and global music culture by releasing “Get Low,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
