Amplifyd Launches Auction House for Influential Artists & Music Brands to Sell Unique Collectibles & Experiences

Early partnerships include electronic music pioneers Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, and Felix Da Housecat alongside festival brands Insomniac and Disco Donnie Presents.

Today, Amplifyd – an auction house for influential artists and music brands to sell their collections, unique collectibles, and experiences, backed by the founding investor of Instagram, announces its official launch out of beta.

With groundbreaking early partnerships secured with electronic music pioneers including Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, and Felix Da Housecat, these iconic artists are set to auction their personal treasure troves, containing rare vinyl, acetates, white labels, memorabilia, and studio equipment, providing fans with a unique opportunity to own a piece of electronic music history with remarkable provenance.

“Being an electronic music artist myself over the past 15 years, it’s an incredibly exciting time for Amplifyd to partner with artists of Felix, Sasha, and Danny’s extraordinary talent and pedigree. Their contributions to the roots and infrastructure of the electronic music industry are monumental. Our collaboration promises a unique and unforgettable journey for fans and music enthusiasts.” – Dan Willis (Amplifyd Founder & CEO).

Danny Tenaglia’s DJ and Production career has spanned close to 50 years now. Over that time, he’s accumulated a vast collection of records, production equipment, DJ gear, and memorabilia that hold so many dear memories close to his heart.

“It’s been an incredible journey to have all of this in my possession for decades, and I’ve been thinking for quite some time now that these items and records might be better served in the hands of others who will continue to love and appreciate them just as much as I have. I’m excited to auction most of my collection on the amazing “Amplifyd” platform. What would make me the most happy is if this massive record collection and various pieces of studio gear and DJ equipment can find a new loving home where they will continue to be appreciated and used.” – Danny Tenaglia

Further solidifying a successful beta, Amplifyd partnered with the world’s leading electronic music festival and live events creator, Insomniac, earlier this year to host the sixth edition of the EDC Las Vegas Charity Auctions. The three-week auctions allowed fans to bid on 30+ once-in-a-lifetime experiences, with participating headline artists including Marshmello, Armin van Buuren, Yellow Claw, and Loud Luxury. The initiative raised over $100,000, making it one of the most successful EDC Las Vegas Charity Auctions.

Steve Anderson, Founder of Baseline Ventures, is one of the most successful early-stage investors in the world. With founding investments in Instagram, Sofi, Stitch Fix, and Machine Zone, Steve became Amplifyd’s Founding Investor in 2021.

“I’m always looking for exciting companies in the music industry. When I was introduced to Dan, his passion, drive, commitment, and extensive knowledge of the industry—and the fact he is an artist too—made it an easy decision to invest in him and get Amplifyd off the ground” – Steve Anderson / Baseline Ventures.

This year’s record-setting EDC Las Vegas Charity Auction springboarded Amplifyd into further exciting partnerships throughout the music festival season, including a joint partnership with Disco Donnie Presents and Shaq’s Bass All Stars Festival to support local food banks in Texas, which resulted in Shaquille O’Neal himself participating in several backstage experiences, alongside headliners Alison Wonderland, Sullivan King and Kai Wachi.

Bidders can anticipate a seamless and immersive auction process, with the platform providing a global audience the opportunity to win iconic pieces of music history and exciting experiences. The early partnerships signify Amplifyd’s commitment to elevating the auction experience for artists and fans, with initiatives for profit or supporting charitable causes.

Stay tuned for more updates and new artist announcements. For further information, visit Amplifyd’s official website at amplifyd.com.
