Prepare, Perform, ANYWHERE: Pioneer DJ Launches Major Upgrade to rekordbox mobile app; start DJing with only your smartphone – anytime, anywhere.

(TORRANCE, Calif.) March 30, 2023: AlphaTheta Corporation announces the release of a major upgrade to the rekordbox mobile app, from the company’s Pioneer DJ brand. Available for iOS, version 4.0 of the new rekordbox mobile app, enables users to start DJing with just an iPhone, or iPad.

Users who have never DJed before can get started on the rekordbox mobile app for free. Then, when they want to take things further and play more professionally, they can connect gear such as the DDJ-FLX4 – the definitive DJ controller for beginners – to get the most from the rekordbox mobile app. The DDJ-FLX4 has a pro feel and a simple, user-friendly design that’s perfect for developing your skills and performing at parties or on streams.

Using an iPhone, iPad, or connected DJ hardware, rekordbox mobile is packed with features and effects to help users create high-quality sounds in their sets. Once users master the mixing basics, they can choose to add additional performance features through an in-app subscription.

Find out more about rekordbox for iOS ver. 4.0 here or download it from the App Store. The app is free to use, with an option to take out an in-app subscription that enables more features.

    PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Product Category: DJ app for iOS, and iPadOS
Version Number: rekordbox for iOS version 4.0
MAP: Free (additional features available with mobile in-app subscriptions)
    Release Date: March 30, 2023

    KEY FEATURES
DJ for Free with Only a Smartphone. Users can simply download rekordbox for iOS ver. 4.0 to an iPhone or iPad for free and can start DJing. DJs can prepare their playlists in Portrait mode, then turn the screen to enter Landscape mode and use the controls on the virtual decks to mix, scratch, and add effects to the music.

    Seamless Integration with the DDJ-FLX4
The DDJ-FLX4 combines with the rekordbox mobile app to make the perfect transition for beginner DJs and those who’ve experimented with mixing and want to take it to the next level. By connecting the DDJ-FLX4 to the mobile device via a USB cable or Bluetooth®, users can practice at home, play for friends at parties, and share their mixes on streams and social networks.

    Support for Various Streaming Services
Users can link the mobile app to streaming services from SoundCloud and TIDAL to directly browse their catalogs and mix and scratch tracks from the users playlists along with music stored on their device.

Compatible with Pro DJ Gear and Cloud Connectivity
When DJs are ready to step up, they can connect their iPhone/iPad to professional equipment such as the CDJ-3000, XDJ-RX3, or XDJ-XZ, and then use the hardware to play the tracks saved in the rekordbox mobile app. Plus, DJs can sync up to 10 tracks with their cloud-based rekordbox library for free with Cloud Library Sync.^ This feature is invaluable if they want to use one rekordbox library across different devices, enabling a seamless DJ workflow. For example, DJs might use their PC/Mac to prepare tracks and playlists, then use their phone to play a gig.

Reliable Performance, Trusted by Professional DJs
The rekordbox brand is trusted by professional DJs around the world. All scratching and effects sounds, as well as app performance, are accurate and high-quality.

Visit the official rekordbox website for the software’s specifications: rekordbox.com.
