    Time to Revisit Your Marketing

Hard to believe, but we are already into the second half of 2022. With Q1 and Q2 in the rearview mirror, the busy summer wedding and events season will be over before we know it, and soon many of us will be thinking about fall and holiday events.

This is actually the perfect time to take a look at some new marketing strategies as we enter the second half of the year, and to review what we have done over the last 6-7 months. It doesn’t matter whether you have been running your DJ business for the past year or ten years, it’s always a good idea to think about ways to modify and increase your marketing to expand your business.

    Focus On Customer Retention

It’s unfortunate but there are still some DJ’s struggling to recover from the pandemic. Focusing on your existing customers will be wise if you’re still trying to bounce back. Keeping existing customers happy is cheaper than acquiring new ones because you as a DJ have already bypassed the early stages of the client journey and have more data to work with for personalized messaging when it comes to getting booked for other types of events.

    Automate Your Social Media

This is one of the best and time-saving ideas for social media marketing. There are so many social platforms and channels to manage that it becomes very troublesome to post individually and regularly on all of them. With the use of social media scheduling tools, you’ll be able to automate your social media accounts to a larger extent. You can also make content libraries; create recurring schedules, view analytics, download reports, and a lot more with these types of tools.

    User-Generated Content

User-generated content (UGC) is an effective material for DJs that want to expand into the Millennial and Gen Z markets. You may inspire your clients to share exclusive content or feedback by giving them rewards, such as discounts or add-ons, or even by collaborating with them for a good cause. This simple UGC technique will rapidly increase client loyalty and boost conversion rates as more people find your company and its services.

So, there you have it! 3 important marketing strategies that you should look into implementing as we adventure through the second half of 2022! And most importantly, now is the time to look at what you did during the first half of the year and review what worked well and what turned out to be a waste of time or money. Evaluate what stays in, what stops and what needs to be added. Let’s get ready for the second half and move forward with strength, purpose and intention to flourish the rest of the year.
