After recently popping up with production credit on The Weeknd‘s chart-topping Dawn FM album, Calvin Harris kicks off 2022 with the latest release for his Love Regenerator project teaming with Riva Starr and Sananda Maitreya for “Lonely.”
The electronic superstar’s rave-inspired alias just celebrated its two-year anniversary so it only seems right that there’s another record added to its ever-growing discography with a soulful piece of production primed time ignite the dingiest dancefloors across the club circuit.
Switching things up a bit this time around from the high-octane sounds we’ve seen from this project in the past, “Lonely” is a piano-driven gem that is quite the melodic masterpiece that samples Trent D’Arby (also known as Sananda Maitreya)’s “…And I Need To Be With Someone Tonight” from 1989.
