After 18 months of sonic development, the new production marks a full-circle moment for Brown, who joins forces with Digweed and Muir.
Progressive house reaches a new pinnacle with the release of “Relentless,” a transcendent collaboration between dance music genre-defier Spencer Brown and Bedrock mainstays John Digweed and Nick Muir.
Available now (June 20) via Bedrock Records in both digital and vinyl formats, the track is the result of 18 months of meticulous collaboration and artistic synergy. The 9-minute Original Mix is a masterclass in tension and atmosphere that’s brimming with hypnotic rhythms and stunning sonic clarity, while the Beatless version distills its essence into a cinematic ambient piece.
For Spencer Brown, whose career launched after being signed by Avicii and opening at the Hollywood Bowl, “Relentless” marks a full-circle moment. After Digweed played one of Brown’s early label releases in Argentina, what began as mutual admiration quickly evolved into friendship and eventually creative partnership. “Relentless” is the sound of three visionaries in perfect alignment – and if that’s not enough, prior to release, the track has been tested across dance floors and is already crystallized into one of 2025s most captivating progressive house records.
“John is my favorite DJ of all time. He is the person who has blown me away the most, consistently. My 30th birthday at Stereo for John’s set was the best night of my life. Ten years of learning from his dancefloors, his sound and flow slowly shaping mine, teaching me to be a better DJ just by dancing.” – Spencer Brown
Brown’s career-evolving journey has taken him to the stages of EDC and Tomorrowland and brought about collaborations alongside heavy-hitters like Ben Böhmer, Qrion, and Above & Beyond. This summer, he takes the newfound energy of “Relentless” on the road with a global tour that stops in major cities including Los Angeles (June 13), Brooklyn (June 14), Houston (June 20), Dallas (June 21), and Minneapolis (July 18), before returning to Stereo Montreal on July 26 for what’s sure to be another unforgettable marathon set.
