From October 3-5, 2025, RISE Festival introduces ‘The Path’ meditative journey and immersive large-scale art installations, announces lineup.
This October, RISE Festival returns to the Mojave Desert for its most ambitious chapter yet – celebrating a decade of awe-inspiring sky lantern releases, art, and music with a breathtaking three-day experience from October 3–5, 2025.
Known as the world’s largest sky lantern festival, RISE has evolved into a full-sensory celebration of connection, expression, and intention beneath the desert sky. With the forthcoming 10th anniversary, RISE will serve up unforgettable performances as well as a deeper dive into the festival’s signature themes of healing, presence, and transformation.
Anchoring this historic edition is an expanded musical lineup featuring some of the most influential artists across electronic, indie, and pop. Friday’s lineup opens with a dreamlike sonic journey led by RÜFÜS DU SOL, joined by melodic house master Ben Böhmer, piano-house powerhouse LP Giobbi, cinematic sound-sculptor Emmit Fenn, Afro-Latino house duo Coco & Breezy, and the ritualistic sonic stylings of Eduardo Castillo.
Saturday takes a turn toward euphoric energy with superstar DJ/producer Calvin Harris at the helm, backed by future house favorite Oliver Heldens, the emotive RY X, global Afro-tech rising star RIVO, and Vegas favorite Carrie Keller.
On Sunday, the mood shifts to intimate and reflective with guitar and pop mainstay John Mayer closing out the weekend alongside jam-rock experimentalists Goose, emotionally charged DJ/producer/musician Elderbrook, atmospheric composer Patrick Watson, electronic duo Forester, and genre-bending instrumental trio City of the Sun.
Art also takes center stage at this year’s festival with contributions from some of the world’s most visionary installation artists. HYBYCOZO’s “Diamonds on the Desert” and “Trillion” bring geometric grandeur to the sands, casting intricate shadows that shift from day to night. Whitaker Studio’s “Desert Winds” fills the landscape with kinetic wind sculptures that harmonize with the natural breeze, while UK-based collective This is Loop presents “Pulse,” a luminous, interactive installation that encourages movement, joy, and connection.
With its landmark 10th edition, RISE Festival offers more than just a music and art event – it’s a sacred space for shared experience, intention-setting, and wonder.
