On June 21, UMF will be hosting an event at Bayfront Park with Miami-Dade County Animal Services as part of Ultra’s Mission: Home.

Ultra Music Festival is going from main stage drops to belly rubs with its latest community-driven initiative. The world-renowned festival has announced Bayfront Bark, a free pet adoption event happening on Saturday, June 21 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dog Park located in the southeast corner of Bayfront Park, Miami. Designed to support local animal welfare organizations, the event aims to connect adoptable pets with forever homes – and, of course, bring joy to attendees in the process.

Presented in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Animal Services, Bayfront Park, the City of Miami, and the Miami Police Department, Bayfront Bark will feature free pet adoptions, ice cream, and exclusive giveaways including Ultra-branded merchandise, pet gear, and other treats for both humans and their furry companions. Adoptions will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants must bring a valid photo ID.

Bayfront Bark is part of Ultra’s Mission: Home initiative – an award-winning sustainability and community engagement program launched in 2019. More than just a music festival, Ultra has expanded its role as a civic partner, supporting meaningful causes like environmental stewardship and local aid. Mission: Home has spearheaded over 60 eco-conscious programs, diverted nearly 400,000 pounds of waste from landfills, and eliminated 2.6 million single-use plastics from entering the waste stream.

In addition to its ongoing partnerships with organizations like The Caring Place, Recreate Miami, and Florida Wood Recycling, Mission: Home has recently launched new programs to further reduce Ultra’s environmental footprint and uplift Miami communities. These include repurposing over 54,000 pounds of wood, composting 14,000 pounds of food scraps, and recycling 9,100 pounds of glass and plastic in partnership with Renuable, Glass for Life, and Lady Green Recycling.

Together along with Bayfront Bark, Ultra is proving once again that its heart beats not just for music, but for the city of Miami. Whether you’re looking to adopt a new best friend, grab a scoop of ice cream, or just enjoy a few hours in the park surrounded by good vibes, Bayfront Bark is a must-attend event for locals and festival lovers alike.
