There have been no injuries reported during the fire which broke out on Wednesday ahead of weekend one of the 2-weekend event.

Ahead of the start of Tomorrowland weekend one (Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 20), a fire broke out at the festival grounds in Boom, Belgium, severely damaging the festival Mainstage. It is being reported that the initial fire started due to issues upon testing of pyrotechnics and fireworks. According to an official statement released by the festival, they can thankfully confirm that there were no injuries due to the incident.

The question remains as to what the next steps will be for Tomorrowland, which is slated to take place this weekend and next weekend. The fest has also confirmed that DreamVille (the campsite) will still be opening tomorrow (Thursday, July 17) as planned, and will be ready for all DreamVille attendees.

Here’s the official statement, released by Tomorrowland:

We can announce that, DreamVille (campsite) will open tomorrow (Thursday, July 17) as planned and will be ready for all DreamVille visitors.
