The three powerhouse artists have joined forces to unleash their latest joint project, available now through 10K Projects.

When melodic maestro GRYFFIN and bass titan Excision come together, the result is bound to be explosive – and their brand new single “Air” proves just that. Featuring a powerful vocal performance by GRAMMY-nominated singer Julia Michaels, “Air” is a genre-blending masterclass that balances soaring emotion with seismic drops.

Released today (Fri., April 25), through 10K Projects, the track pulses with intensity, fusing GRYFFIN’s cinematic synths with Excision’s signature low-end grit for a festival-ready anthem that feels both massive and melodic. Gryffin is fresh off an unforgettable performance at Ultra Music Festival’s main stage to celebrate the fest’s 25th anniversary, while Julia Michaels joined Zedd during Coachella weekend one to perform their track “Daisy” to a jam-packed crowd at the Outdoor Theater.

“Air” arrives as GRYFFIN continues to ride a wave of momentum following collaborations with Kaskade (“In My Head”) and his 2025 edit of Band of Horses’ “The Funeral.” The track also reinforces GRYFFIN’s ability to evolve – this time stepping into harder-hitting sonic territory without sacrificing his melodic roots. Coming off his PULSE album and in the thick of his PULSE: PHASE 2 Tour, GRYFFIN’s partnership with Excision adds yet another chapter to his ever-expanding stylistic range and budding discography.

For Excision, “Air” marks his first release of the year following a massive 2024 packed with collaborations and his high-octane Nexus Tour. As he gears up for marquee festival sets at EDC Las Vegas, Shambhala, and his own Bass Canyon and Lost Lands, “Air” is already poised to become a staple in his – and plenty of other DJs – summer sets.
