The track with Goom Gum is the second single from Innellea’s forthcoming LP, ‘Finding Home,’ set for release on Sept. 5.

German electronic innovator Innellea teams up with acclaimed Russian duo Goom Gum for “Childhood,” the latest single from his upcoming compilation album Finding Home, due out September 5 via his boundary-pushing label, belonging.

The track is a seamless blend of Innellea’s emotionally immersive sound design and Goom Gum’s melodic techno finesse, resulting in a moving yet club-ready cut that reflects on the formative memories that shape our identities. “Childhood” marks the second preview of Finding Home, a 12-track compilation rooted in collaboration and artistic kinship.

Finding Home brings together Innellea and a handpicked group of producers he considers part of his creative circle, aiming to explore themes of connection and self-discovery through sound. Goom Gum, known for their Beatport-topping hit “Pantheon” with Argy and UK club smash “It’s A Lot,” inject their signature driving rhythms and soaring melodies into the track, making it a standout addition to the record.

I’m a really emotional person. I cry easily, especially when something beautifully touches me,” reflects Innellea on the vulnerability that shapes belonging’s DNA. “I believe vulnerability is human and necessary. We should be able to show emotions without being judged for it. That’s why I created belonging from a place of total honesty – that’s exactly what I want the label to reflect.”

The forthcoming compilation reflets on the ethos of belonging, which serves as more than just a label, but a growing global community of fans and artists. With a Telegram channel dedicated to crowdsourcing ideas, artwork, and release feedback, belonging fosters a collaborative environment that breaks down the barrier between creator and listener. Goom Gum’s involvement underscores Innellea’s commitment to emotional storytelling and musical innovation, drawing from both the underground and the mainstream.
