The pair joins forces to form Vertigo with the release of their first single featuring Makayla Phillips on June 21 via Confession.

Aazar and Capozzi are thrilled to unveil their collaborative project: Vertigo. This venture symbolizes the conflict between the fear of falling and the desire to fall, encapsulating the dynamic tension and synergy between two distinct artistic personas.

Combining the high-energy vibes of the spirited Frenchman Aazar with the enigmatic, understated style of LA-based artist Capozzi, Vertigo brings forth a fresh and innovative sound. The collaboration fuses their contrasting worlds, resulting in a unique musical expression that reflects “two souls, one sound.”

Their debut single, “Hit My Heart,” featuring Makayla Phillips, is available now, Friday, June 21, through the famed Confession label. This euphoric, progressive track marks a significant departure from Aazar and Capozzi’s usual styles. Incorporating elements of euro dance and trance, “Hit My Heart” features an accelerated melody and emotionally charged vocals by Makayla Phillips, creating a club-ready anthem that promises to become a sing-along favorite.

The track has already garnered strong support from industry heavyweights such as Tchami, Kaskade, and Malaa, highlighting the disruptive and innovative nature of the Vertigo project. This enthusiastic reception from influential figures solidifies Vertigo’s place as a welcomed and exciting addition to the electronic music scene.

Vertigo consists of two artist on opposite sides of the spectrum. Aazar who is the light at the end of the tunnel and Capozzi who is in the darkest part of the tunnel. Together they offset each other sonically. With the music you will feel the infusion of both musical minds and it will complete the listeners taste across the world. This unique collaboration consists of an Italian-American (Capozzi) and a Parisian (Aazar). Vertigo’s music will take you to heights in music where you might feel the desire to fall or the fear of losing yourself in the music.”
