Ultra Music Festival unveils historic, star-studded Phase 1 lineup for festival’s 25th anniversary celebration.

Ultra Music Festival is gearing up to celebrate its 25th anniversary in historic fashion, returning to its home at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami from March 28-30, 2025. With a legacy as the world’s premier electronic music festival, Ultra has just revealed its highly anticipated phase 1 lineup, which is jam-packed with exclusive performances and genre-defining artists that will make this anniversary edition one for the history books.

At the forefront of the lineup is the world-exclusive debut of Anyma b2b Solomun, an electrifying collaboration set to headline the MainStage. Combining Anyma’s cutting-edge audiovisual art and Solomun’s technical prowess, this global first will blend mesmerizing visual installations, avant-garde sound engineering, and futuristic stage design for an immersive experience like no other.

Ultra didn’t stop there. In a festival first, Solomun’s renowned Diynamic label will also take over the RESISTANCE MegaStructure, where the Croatian DJ will perform a solo set. Joining him will be trailblazers like Four Tet and Dutch tech-house sensation Mau P, marking their debut performances at Ultra. Additionally, Carl Cox will headline the RESISTANCE MegaStructure, bringing his brand-new Live Show to the stage and launching his ‘Carl Cox Invites’ series, featuring a star-studded lineup of underground house and techno talent.

The 25th anniversary will also see a series of historic performances, including the first-ever deadmau5 b2b Pendulum DJ set. While both acts have graced Ultra’s stages in the past, this will be their first full collaborative set, following their iconic 2016 joint performance of “Ghosts ‘N’ Stuff.” Both deadmau5 and Pendulum will also headline standalone performances, with deadmau5 delivering his ‘retro5pective’ set, revisiting his classic hits, and Pendulum returning for their first live performance at Ultra since 2022.

Fans will also witness the debut Miami performance of Everything Always, the superduo of Dom Dolla and John Summit, as well as a solo Main Stage performance from Axwell, who has headlined Ultra as part of Swedish House Mafia and Axwell Λ Ingrosso, but will now shine in his first career solo set at the fest.

Ultra’s 25th anniversary wouldn’t be complete without a return from trance legends Above & Beyond, marking their first Ultra appearance since their surprise 2018 set, and Armin van Buuren, whose signature A State of Trance stage will also make its 13th appearance. Festival-goers can also look forward to powerhouse sets from Hardwell, Martin Garrix, and Zedd, fresh off the release of his latest album Telos.

In a celebration of electronic music history, Ultra 2025 will also mark the return of two pioneering acts: Gesaffelstein, performing at Ultra for the first time since 2014, and NERO, who will bring their signature blend of dubstep and drum & bass to the festival for the first time since 2016.

On the RESISTANCE front, attendees can expect more than iconic headliners. Drumcode’s Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, Boris Brejcha, and ARTBAT will be at the forefront of techno, while debut performances from acts like 999999999 and I Hate Models will push the boundaries of the underground. Meanwhile, Dirty Workz will return to curate a hardstyle takeover, and for the first time ever, psytrance takes center stage, courtesy of Vini Vici’s Alteza Records.

From groundbreaking world-exclusive collaborations to the return of beloved festival vets, Ultra 2025 promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates the past, present, and future of electronic music.
