The addition of high quality, lossless FLAC audio to Beatport Streaming will be available for its entire catalog of over 12 million tracks.

Beatport, the leading global platform for DJs, producers, and their fans, has introduced high-quality, lossless FLAC audio to Beatport Streaming. This feature is now available to subscribers of both Beatport Streaming Professional plans and Beatsource Streaming Pro+ plans.

With this upgrade, Beatport Streaming Professional users can access and mix from a vast catalog of over 12 million electronic music tracks with pristine sound clarity. Similarly, Beatsource Streaming Pro+ users can stream and mix from Beatsource’s expansive 7 million track open-format collection. The FLAC format offers smaller file sizes, ensuring fast loading times for DJs while maintaining top-tier sound quality. Additionally, professional subscribers can seamlessly switch between streaming audio quality within their preferred DJ software, providing flexibility without compromising performance.

“At Beatport, our mission has always been to provide DJs with the highest quality music and the best tools to elevate their performances,” said Helen Sartory, Chief Revenue Officer of The Beatport Group. “The introduction of lossless FLAC audio to Beatport Streaming is a game-changer, ensuring that our subscribers can deliver the ultimate sound experience to their audiences. This upgrade reaffirms our commitment to innovation and excellence in the world of DJ music.”

Lossless FLAC audio support is currently available in the majority of DJ platform integrations like Serato (Mac), and is coming soon to CDJ-3000, rekordbox, Traktor, and Serato (Windows). To learn more about which DJ platforms support the playback of FLAC, visit this link.
