First highlights include industry heavyweights Narciss, Indira Paganotto & Joseph Capriati, DJ MELL G, MARRØN, Freddy K, and many more.

This October, ADE Lab is set to ignite the careers of the next generation of music industry leaders with a four-day conference packed with educational sessions, panels, and masterclasses. From October 16-19, 2024, industry newcomers will converge with established professionals to network, learn, and share experiences in an environment dedicated to fostering growth and innovation.

This year’s lineup features an array of speakers, including the likes of DJ MELL G, Narciss, Indira Paganotto, Joseph Capriati, and Freddy K, among others. Each brings a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge to the table. DJ MELL G, for instance, will lead a session, “Staying Grounded as a Touring DJ,” focusing on mental health within the electronic nightlife scene. Freddy K will explore the vinyl resurgence and share his passion and insights on running a successful vinyl-focused label.

MARRØN, Amsterdam’s own and founder of the Eerste Communie event series, will delve into the nuances of community building in the music industry during his panel “Curating Culture.” His insights are particularly anticipated, following the impactful participation of Mama Snake in last year’s event. Mama Snake returns this year for a masterclass with her agent, Charles Green, providing a behind-the-scenes look at their work and answering burning questions from attendees.

The conference will also feature a special session led by techno icons Indira Paganotto and Joseph Capriati, moderated by Dave Clarke. They will discuss their collaborative EP Mantra and share their creative processes, offering attendees a rare glimpse into the making of a techno hit.

ADE Lab is not just about panels and talks; it also offers specialized courses aimed at developing specific skills. The Producer Course, for example, will be led by Sarz, who will guide young producers on their path to success. Meanwhile, the Visual Arts Course, taught by Spekki Webu and Matti Vilho, will demonstrate how visuals can emotionally enhance music and technology.

While the first announcement of speakers and sessions offers just a taste of what’s to come, you can find more updates expected to be revealed on the Amsterdam Dance Event’s official website. ADE Lab 2024 is shaping up to be an essential destination for anyone looking to make their mark in the music industry, offering unparalleled opportunities for learning, networking, and career development.
