Hot off the heels of a powerful comeback, Kasablanca joins forces with Lane 8 to debut their poignant new single.

Kasablanca returns with powerful comeback after one-half of the progressive/melodic techno act, Micky Kasablanca, received a shocking cancer diagnosis in 2023. Now, awaiting news of remission, Kasablanca will debut their poignant new melodic house single “Remission” with This Never Happened’s Lane 8.

Seas of fans gathered for Kasablanca’s recent comeback performance at Ultra Music Festival’s LIVE Stage in Miami. During their ensemble at UMF, the duo publicly confirmed the arrival of their upcoming debut LP and premiered the lead single “Remission,” a collaboration with This Never Happened label boss Lane 8.

Within the past couple of years, the duo has rapidly risen through the ranks with their distinct fusion of progressive and melodic house sounds and high-profile collaborations. Last year, while wrapping up the second leg of their 2023 headline tour, Micky received life-altering news: a cancer diagnosis. The timing was devastating, but Micky confronted this unprecedented challenge with the same intensity he brought to his music – choosing to perform through the pain until the urgency of treatment could no longer be ignored. After undergoing an intense surgery and chemotherapy regimen, Micky tapped back into the same fervor that has characterized his entire career.
