Following Sherm’s ADE panel, the breakout artist collaborates with BLUPRNT on his latest via Hood Politics Records.
Two Chicago-based acts have come together to give music lovers a taste of their “Real Life.” Sherm and BLUPRNT have joined forces on the underground anthem “Real Life,” which is available now through Hood Politics Records, HERE.
Sherm, who was recently named one of Beatportal’s Artists to Watch, has also just wrapped an ADE panel, acclaimed performance at Hood Politics x Bring the Kingdom ADE series, and a collaborative remix with Sutton Place of Travis Scott’s “FE!N.”
“I’ve been such a big fan of BLUPRNT since their release “House In My Life” on Hood Politics and knew a time would come for us to collaborate. This track immediately grabs your attention and keeps it until the last kick. Simply put, this track is BIG and brought out the best in us as producers. Hood Poli was the only label this track was going to.” – Sherm
“Real Life” is seemingly the continuation of Sherm’s hot streak this year. He not only hosted the “Tech/House Boom in the US: What’s In It for You?“ panel at ADE 2023, but performed at Hood Politics x Bring The Kingdom ADE showcase. The song, “Real Life,” is an underground anthem that boasts an insatiable groove cleverly coupled with a captivating vocal sample and big synth stabs. Sherm and BLUPRNT inject the feeling of peak time energy at the club directly into the track, masterfully arranging each breakdown to build into a drop that’s bigger than the last.
Elite electronic music tastemaker, Sherm, was recently named one of six top emerging artists via Beatportal “on their radar,” while masked house maestro Claptone has been heavily supporting Sherm’s previous single “Madonna,” including his recent set at Club Space Miami. “Real Life” with Sherm is the final chapter in a string of 2023 releases that includes peak-time heaters like “Proper Ladies,” “House in My Life,” and “Elevator,” showing why this duo is worth keeping an eye out for in the future.
The energy packed into “Real Life” is symbolic of the successful year both Chicago-based natives, Sherm and BLUPRNT, have had. One of the more exciting under-the-radar duos in house music, the BLUPRNT boys have burst onto the scene in 2023 with support from artists like Diplo, Dr. Fresch, Matroda, DJ Susan, and more.
