This July, Northern Nights Music Festival returns to Piercy, CA to celebrate its 10th anniversary, including an in-house cannabis strain.

Coinciding with the announcement of their 10th anniversary event, Northern Nights Music Festival 2023 has just dropped their phase one lineup. Returning to Cook’s Valley Campground in Piercy, California from July 14-16, Northern Nights becomes the very first music festival to create an in-house cannabis strain. The new strain was developed alongside Humboldt Seed Company, all as part of the festival’s 2023 initiative aimed at supporting local curators.

The phase one lineup for Northern Nights 2023 includes Big Gigantic, G Jones, Mura Masa, TOKiMONSTA, Dr. Fresch, Bipolar Sunshine, Coco & Breezy, Nala, Elephant Heart, Night Tales, Daily Bread, Mary Droppinz, Random Rab, Forester, Megan Hamilton, EAZYBAKED, Moontricks, Dos, Lapa, and more.

In 2019, Northern Nights became the first music festival to have legal onsite cannabis sales and consumption, establishing the event as a pioneering force in the legalization force that has swept the country. In 2022, they became the first music festival to have dispensaries located at stages and the first music festival to have multiple on-site dispensaries. One year later, Northern Nights is the first music festival to create their own in-house strain of cannabis to commemorate 10 years of the unique and innovative 3-day event.
