While their latest album single, “I’m Just A Monster Underneath, My Darling,” is still in heavy rotation, Krewella invited Output into their studio to give us a behind the scenes look into their creative process.

Being the newest offering off their forthcoming album The Body Never Lies, “I’m Just A Monster Underneath, My Darling” serves pop-tinged, drum & bass weapon where the Yousaf sisters used Output’s Arcade creative software during its production process. It features sounds from Arcade’s Sampler Kit “Final Hour” in Drip and Distant Voices.

Yasmine Yousaf’s favorite aspect of using Arcade is, “It’s all in one place. This has everything you’re looking for — the macros, the samples… And it’s a pretty-ass plugin.”

During the pandemic, Yasmine and her boyfriend built out a cozy, wood-paneled home studio where Krewella also live-streams production sessions and hangouts with fans on Twitch.

“The fans had never been privy to our studio sessions before,” she says. “Watching my favorite artists share their process is one of the coolest things, as a fan, so I’m glad we get to give people that.”
