Have you heard the news? The new firmware ver. 2.0 update for the Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 introduces a new feature, rekordbox CloudDirectPlay! This means it is now possible to directly play music stored in the cloud using the Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000.

With cloud file storage continually growing in popularity, more and more DJs are looking for ways to manage their music online; so it was only a matter of time before DJs wanted to play that music directly from the cloud without needing to download it to a computer and export it to a USB storage device.

Now, with rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, DJs can combine the advanced features of the Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 with the convenience of having direct access to their cloud-based music.

The rekordbox Creative and Professional plans offer the Cloud Library Sync feature so users can access their latest library from different devices and sync playlists and tracks between them. Now, both these subscription plans support rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, a feature that enables you to browse your entire cloud-based library directly from a Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 and play any track live.
